Weapons: Acid pellet gun (semi-automatic
rifle) and 2 shoulder-mounted cannons. He obtains Bluestreak's ion beam
rifle, which he uses on an occasion, when he dies.
Profile: Prowl is an Autobot of many
virtues - he is quiet, competent, loyal, and possessed of almost endless
patience. When Prowl is assigned a task, he would give his all in completing it
to the best of his ability. He is not given to speculation or estimation - the
only realm in which he will work is that of the proven fact; if he can't explain
it, he will not believe it. He hates doubt, and strives to make a situation as
simple and logical as possible, purging excesses of concern from his mind by
going to Optimus Prime for assurance. Prowl is friendly, but only as a listener;
as a talker, he is not so sociable, entering a conversation usually only when
someone makes an unreasonable remark, and demanding an explanation.
History on Cybertron: Before the war, Prowl worked underneath Lord Protector Megatron as head of the security forces. He was never enlisted in the military forces, rather he was in the sentry forces. When Megatron start acting bizarre, Optimus enlisted Prowl for some help along with Jazz. When Optimus asked why it was taking so long, Prowl indicated that he never had to break into a superior's quarters before. While Optimus was looking at the bizarre relic, Prowl received word that the battle is over and Megatron is returning. Soon after Megatron ordered Prowl to arrest Optimus. This does not suit very well with Prowl and he was the first injured Cybertronian in an ambush. Eventually, he was repaired by Ratchet and he changes jobs from security to tactician under Optimus. Right after he joins the Autobots, he undergoes a couple of upgrades, a battle computer installed on his processor and a powerful logic center. His optic color changes from an amber to an azure color.
History on Earth: Prowl lived in Montana for a few years as a police car when he runs into one of his friends. The two of them head to Diego Garcia and back to the Autobots, where he is later trained by Ironhide. While on a mission to Yellowstone, his processor is controlled by another Cybertronian, which turns him against his Autobot comrades. Later, he battles Barricade and meets his challenge. Once he got back to Diego Garcia, he is repaired and repainted that resembled a Japanese police car with a red police shield that has the Autobot insignia. Soon after, he regains his confidence and goes into a fight in the Mojave Desert, where he looses his comrade and only other Praxus survivor. In memory of him, he obtains Bluestreak's Ion Beam rifle. Prowl is later repaired in Montana and received some rest and recuperation. He returns to Diego Garcia to take care of a large menace known as Predaking. After Predaking is defeated, he sent to Mars in search of an ancient Seeker and power up the second cube that could possibly save the Cybertronian race and Cybertron. Here, he gets captured by and battles Quintessons. He also battles Decepticons including his old boss. He is very close to dying but due to timing, he was saved. With much encouragement, he regains residency in Montana and lives with his friend. He also gains some new non-Autobot friends, in which one of them gives him a device that is connected to the Earth's satellites.
Abilities: Prowl's logic center is
unquestionably the most powerful of all the Autobots', giving him the ability to
analyze any combat situation almost instantaneously and then advise on the
optimal course of action- a skill that makes him eminently suited to his role as
the Autobots' military strategist/analyst and field commander. For example, he
can compute the paths of 800 separate moving objects and determine the proper
counter-move in half a second. In robot mode, he is armed with a pair of
shoulder-mounted cannon which fire wire-guided incendiary missiles, and a
semi-automatic rifle that shoots pellets filled with a highly corrosive acid.
Weaknesses: His dedication to logic
and reason makes Prowl particularly vulnerable to the unexpected. Irrational and
inexplicable situations can scramble his circuits, sometimes to the point of
total shutdown of his mechano-cortex center, leaving him temporarily
dsyfunctional.
